Our model keeps your details out of every registry file. This policy explains the little personal data we hold, why, who can obtain it and what rights you have.

**Quick answer — What personal data does NomineeName hold?**

As of 19 October 2026, the only personal detail you give **NomineeName** is one verified email per domain: mandatory, kept private, never published and never sent to the registry. No ID, no KYC, no name, no postal address, no phone; our servers also handle IP addresses, as any website does. Data goes out only when Panamanian law requires it (a Panamanian court or prosecutor's order), or in a UDRP case.

## 1. Who is responsible for your data

DomaineGoat LLC, incorporated in Panama, operates NomineeName and decides how your data is used. Contact: support@nomineename.com. We process personal data under Panamanian law, including Ley 81 of 26 March 2019 on personal data protection.

NomineeName is a nominee domain registration service from Panama: every domain is registered in the name of DomaineGoat LLC by default, so the registration record and WHOIS show the company, never you — no ID, no KYC, paid in crypto. This shapes the whole policy: the data that registries and registrars publish or keep about a domain is our company's, not yours.

## 2. What we collect and why

- **One verified email per domain.** ICANN rules require a working contact for every domain, verified within 15 days of a registration, a transfer or a change. We use it to send receipts, renewal and expiry messages, abuse and dispute notices, and mail forwarded to your verified email; spam and bulk mail are not forwarded. You can use an address that does not carry your name.
- **Your domains and their settings**: nameservers, DNS records, lock status, renewal dates. The service cannot run without them.
- **Your balance and top-ups**: coin, network, amount and date of each top-up, and what the balance paid for.
- **Support messages**: what you write to us and our answers.
- **Technical data**: like any website, our servers handle your IP address to deliver pages and to protect the service from abuse.

We do not collect an ID document, a selfie, an ID or tax number, a date of birth, a name, a postal address, a phone number, or card or bank details. The full list is on [data we collect](https://nomineename.com/data-we-collect/).

## 3. Legal bases

Where a data protection law such as the GDPR applies to you, we rely on these bases:

- **contract**: to provide the service you ordered, under our [terms](https://nomineename.com/legal/terms/);
- **legal obligation and ICANN rules**: to verify a contact, to answer valid court orders, and to keep records the law requires;
- **legitimate interest**: to keep the service secure, to handle abuse reports and to defend legal claims.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

## 4. Who receives your data

- **The registry and our registrar partner** hold the registrant record, which names DomaineGoat LLC, and the technical data of the domain, under their own rules. The thin .com and .net registries receive no contact data at all. None of them receives your email.
- **WHOIS and RDAP** show the company's details, never yours.
- **A UDRP dispute provider** receives the data of the registrant of record, which is our company's. If you defend a domain in your own name, the provider and the panel will know you, and the published decision may name you.
- **Courts and authorities** receive data only when Panamanian law requires it (a Panamanian court or prosecutor's order), or in a UDRP case. See the [disclosure policy](https://nomineename.com/disclosure-policy/).
- **Service providers** that host our systems or send our emails process data only on our instructions.

With the Domain protection option ($29 per year per domain), minimal data is part of the domain's terms: DomaineGoat LLC holds only your email. The release rule is the same for every domain.

## 5. Payments

Payment is in crypto only: BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. Send the exact amount on the exact network; it is matched by its exact amount and credited once the network confirms it. We keep the record of each top-up to run your balance.

Blockchains are public: a payment can be seen by anyone who knows the transaction, whichever merchant receives it. Pay from a wallet you control. Prices are on the [pricing page](https://nomineename.com/pricing/).

## 6. How long we keep your data

- The verified email of a domain: while the domain is registered with us, then as long as the law or a pending dispute requires.
- Domain settings: while the domain is with us.
- Balance and top-up records: as long as your account has a balance, and afterwards as long as accounting rules require.
- Support messages: as long as needed to handle the request and any follow-up.
- Technical data: for a short time, for security.

## 7. Cookies

The public pages of nomineename.com do not need cookies to be read. The client area uses what it needs to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. We do not use advertising cookies.

## 8. Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, or to give you a copy. Write to support@nomineename.com from the verified email concerned, so that we know the request is yours.

While a domain is registered with us, its verified email must stay on file, because ICANN requires a working contact. To delete it, transfer the domain out, put it in your own name, or let it expire. Where a data protection authority has power over us under the law that applies to you, you can complain to it.

## 9. Security

We hold little, which is the first protection: there is no ID, address or phone number to leak. We restrict access to the data we hold to the people who need it to run the service. We never ask for your password, your account number or your domain transfer (EPP) codes by email or chat. A message asking for these is not from us: forward it to abuse@nomineename.com.

## 10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the last change, and important changes are announced by email to customers. Questions: support@nomineename.com. Abuse reports: abuse@nomineename.com.
