What does NomineeName do?

NomineeName is a nominee domain registration service from Panama: every domain is registered in the name of DomaineGoat LLC by default, so the registration record and WHOIS show the company, never you — no ID, no KYC, paid in crypto.

In practice:

  • The registrant record names our company, not you. Your name, address and phone are never sent to a registry, because we never ask for them.
  • You control the domain. DNS, nameservers, renewals, redirects and transfers are managed from your account.
  • You can leave at any time. The transfer code is free, from your account, at any time. The domain can be put in your own name free, on request to support from your verified email address, where the registry accepts you as holder. There is no exit fee.

This also opens extensions whose registry wants a holder's postal address, such as .de or .uk: the registry receives the company's address. See how it works for the full flow.

Who operates NomineeName?

NomineeName is operated by DomaineGoat LLC, incorporated in Panama. It is not an ICANN-accredited registrar and does not claim ICANN accreditation. Domains are registered through our ICANN-accredited registrar partner, shown in the RDAP record.

DomaineGoat LLC is the registrant of record of every domain on the service. It answers for the domains it holds, as the ICANN Registrar Accreditation Agreement says a registrant who lets others use a domain must. Our contract with you is governed by Panamanian law, and it is written in our terms.

Why register domains in a company's name?

Because hiding your data is not the same as never giving it. Since 2018, most registries and registrars mask personal data in public WHOIS. But the data still exists in their records, and a request can reach it there.

With nominee registration, those records hold our company's details. People who want a domain without their name in any registry file include:

  • founders who register a product name before launch;
  • people who run a personal site and do not want their home address on file;
  • holders of domain portfolios who keep their holdings private;
  • anyone who needs a .de, .nl or .ch domain without giving that registry a home address.

The nominee domain registration page explains the model in depth, and beneficial ownership explains why the domain stays yours.

Which rules does NomineeName follow?

Our official policy of 8 October 2026 fits in four lines:

  1. No takedown on complaint alone. Copyright, defamation, political or competitor complaints need a decision from a Panamanian court.
  2. Data only when Panamanian law requires it: a Panamanian court or prosecutor's order, or a UDRP case.
  3. No ID, no KYC — only a verified email, kept private; payment in crypto.
  4. Strict exceptions, written openly: phishing, malware, botnets and fraud that takes money from victims are acted on within 24 hours of a well-documented report, and child sexual abuse material immediately.

Trademark disputes follow the UDRP. Each rule has its own page below, and the transparency report will count how they were applied.

What does NomineeName publish?

What does NomineeName never do?

  • We never ask for an ID document, a selfie, an ID number, a postal address or a phone number.
  • We never send your email to a registry or publish it in WHOIS/RDAP.
  • We never promise that a domain is above the law: abuse in the strict exceptions is suspended.
  • We never charge a fee to take your domain away from us.
  • We never post fake reviews, ratings or customer counts.
  • We never ask for your password, your account number or your domain transfer (EPP) codes by email or chat.

Prices for every extension, with registration in our name included, are on the pricing page.

About NomineeName: FAQ

Is NomineeName a domain registrar?

No. NomineeName is a nominee registration service operated by DomaineGoat LLC, incorporated in Panama, which is not an ICANN-accredited registrar. Domains are registered through our ICANN-accredited registrar partner, so ICANN rules apply, including the UDRP and the abuse obligations. Our company is the registrant of record.

Who legally owns a domain registered with NomineeName?

DomaineGoat LLC is the registrant of record shown by the registry. You are the beneficial owner under a written agreement in our terms: you control DNS, renewals and transfers, you get the transfer code free, from your account, at any time, and the domain can be put in your own name free, on request to support from your verified email address where the registry accepts you.

Why Panama?
