Quick answer
Can I register a .nl domain in your company's name?
Yes: you can register a .nl domain in our name at NomineeName. The registrant is DomaineGoat LLC, incorporated in Panama, so the registrant record and WHOIS/RDAP show the company, never you. As of October 2026, .nl costs $10.99/year, nominee registration included. No ID, no KYC — only a verified email, kept private — and you pay in crypto.

Who registers .nl in a company's name?
A .nl is the extension of the Dutch market. Foreign companies selling in the Netherlands, and Dutch freelancers, use it. Its registry needs a holder record with a postal address. Registering the .nl in our name means that record holds our company's address.
What the .nl registry receives, what WHOIS shows, what we keep
| Who | What they get for your .nl domain |
|---|---|
| SIDN (Stichting Internet Domeinregistratie Nederland) | DomaineGoat LLC as holder, with the company's address. Nothing about you. |
| Public WHOIS / RDAP | The company as registrant, or fields the registry redacts. Never your name. |
| NomineeName | Your verified email and your orders. The email never goes to the registry. |
| You | Beneficial owner: DNS, renewals and the transfer code (free, from your account, at any time). |
What does the .nl registry ask of a holder?
SIDN (Stichting Internet Domeinregistratie Nederland) runs .nl. The extension is open worldwide. Holders outside the Netherlands receive a SIDN domicile address for legal notices. Some registrars ask for a home address, which goes beyond the registry's rule. SIDN redacts personal data in its public lookup. On a NomineeName .nl, SIDN receives our company as holder, and the domicile arrangement applies to the company.
What should you check before registering .nl?
- One year at a time: .nl is registered for one year per order and renewed yearly.
- No IDN: .nl does not support accented characters.
- NIS2: EU registries now verify holder data more closely. Here the verified data is our company's.
- Address checks elsewhere: some registrars ask for a home address on .nl, more than SIDN requires. We ask for none: the holder is our company.
- Hand-back: open to any country.

Frequently asked questions
Can a non-Dutch person register a .nl?
Yes. SIDN accepts holders from any country and gives foreign holders a SIDN domicile address for notices. With NomineeName, the holder is our company, so you need no Dutch address and give SIDN no address at all.
How long can I register a .nl for?
One year at a time. The registry term for .nl is one year, and every renewal adds one year. Keep enough crypto balance, or switch on auto-renew, so the name does not lapse.
Can I take a .nl back in my own name?
Yes, free, on request. SIDN then receives your name and address as holder. If you live outside the Netherlands, SIDN gives you a domicile address for notices. Your data would be redacted in public lookups but held by the registry.
Who owns a .nl domain held in your name?
DomaineGoat LLC is the registrant of record and you are the beneficial owner, under a written agreement in our terms. Your transfer code: free, from your account, at any time. The hand-back of the .nl name to you is free, on request to support from your verified email address. It works where the registry accepts you as holder.
Can a complaint take my .nl domain down?
Not on its own: copyright, defamation, political or competitor complaints need a decision from a Panamanian court. The strict exceptions have fixed delays: phishing, malware, botnets and fraud that takes money from victims within 24 hours of a well-documented report, child sexual abuse material immediately. See the abuse policy.
